Top-10 hollywood scandals

Hollywood has never disappointed us with the lack of celebrity gossips. Scandals seem never going to stop on the Hollywood hills. If you see a celebrity, it’s guaranteed there will be a scandal around. It’s interesting how people love seeing them excusing and humiliating. Maybe it’s because when they see it, their non-fabulous lives become less insignificant. Anyway, hot celebrity issues are very interesting subject for examining. So, I’d like to present the top 10 of the Hollywood scandals including most notorious ones.

George Michael

For a start let’s go back to 1998 to Beverly Hills toilet. Yeap. You’re right. It’s about George Michael lewd behavior in men’s lavatory. He could get off with impunity, if it were not for an undercover cop who caught the pop star red-handed. The story became a hot issue immediately. As a result George Michael was charged a fine and community service.

It was number 10. Now we’re moving to the ninth position “proudly” occupied by a dethrone pop-princess Britney Spears. In fact, it was hard to figure out what scandal associated with this troubled girl is the most notorious. I decided to focus on the so-called “tape scandal” (which is quite a tendency in Hollywood) which took place in 2007. Reportedly, there was a record made in a New York club featuring the pop star getting intimate with two female dancers. Luckily for Britney it hasn’t leaked to the Internet.

Number eight was given to Teen Queen, Miley Cyrus. This girl did have a few slips this year. However, this time she overdone herself. Performing at The Teen Choice Awards Cyrus gave a hot dance on a stripper pole! Maybe it’s fine for a night club but not for the Disney audience!

Another teenager idol that got involved into a scandal this year appears to be Taylor Swift. The seventh place in the top 10 of the Hollywood scandals was given to a ballyhoo that took place at the 2009 VMA. Accepting the award was interrupted by Kanye West running up on-stage claiming the award was given to Beyonce. Taylor Swift was shocked and Beyonce did everything to smooth the scandal.

The sixth position is a bit old but by no means outdated. In 1992 adored by Hollywood nebbish Woody Allen had fallen in love with the adopted daughter of Mia Farrow, his longtime partner. The scandal broke out when Farrow found obscene Polaroid pictures of Soon-Yi made by the filmmaker. However later in 1997 Allen and his young lover tied the knot and lived happily ever after.

The middle of the list number 5 was given to Winona Ryder and her pilferer’s habits. In 2001 Winona stole designer goods worth of somewhat $6,000. The actress got three years of supervised probation, lots of hours of community service and contract with Marc Jacobs in ad campaign parodying her arrest.

Number 4 is for Paris Hilton and her sex tape. In 2003 X-rated video with Paris Hilton and Rick Solomon leaked online. But Hilton turned out smarter than she seems to be and legitimately marketed the video making good money on it. Since then her career has leaped and she became a fashion icon.

In 2007 there was another scandal involving one of the best then Hilton’s gal pals Lindsay Lohan. The wild Hollywood child was spotted doing endless lines of cocaine in Teddy’s, the popular Hollywood nightclub. It is also rumored that she was seen getting very intimate with Jude Law and James Franco that night. Meanwhile Lindsay lands at number 3.

Well, well it’s almost the top of the list. Rihanna and Chris Brown were considered almost perfect lovebirds until one night the things went wrong. When the world has seen the pictures of bruised Rihanna, it was shocked and speechless. Misbehaving Brown receives number two.

Finally, it shouldn’t be a surprise that number one in the top 10 of the Hollywood scandals is unconditionally given to lascivious Tiger Woods. Firstly, the golf legend was caught in cheating his wife with Rachel Uchitel. But then another 13 women claimed having relationship with him. And the whole world was shocked. The first gossips appeared in November 2009 and since then we were getting news from this notorious family almost every week. So, maybe the most interesting things are just about to happen…

Wow! Have I overdone it? Maybe, but just a bit. But as you understand this top 10 of the Hollywood scandals is not complete. Any suggestions what’s missing?
