Jennifer Lopez’s fall at American Music Awards 2009

The entire planet is discussing Jennifer Lopez making her comeback on-stage at the American Music Awards. However, it wasn’t her performance that caused a stir. The evening was eventful thanks to J-Lo’s memorable fall. How did it happen? Well, she was performing “Louboutins”. The stage looked like a boxing ring with dancers dressed like boxers. The dance performance included Lopez going up on the dancers’ backs and jumping down. As you have already guessed the landing was rather embarrassing. After the fall Lopez got back on her feet rather quickly and kept on dancing like nothing happened.

The entire event was airing live. However the West Coast didn’t see the fall as ABC had cut it out. Later she joked about the confusing moment telling she meant to fall as it was part of her performance.

However, nobody knows whether it was that funny backstage after it as Lopez is known for being a captious perfectionist. Maybe some of the dancers were fired… Well, there is no mention of it. Meantime, the Lopez’ comeback has been speculated for a while. However, there was nothing special in the performance. So, maybe exactly such unplanned fall made it really interesting.
