“Failure to Launch” movie review
“Failure to Launch” is an amazing comedy telling about relationships between beloved people and friends. This flick differs from other films in this genre that came out recently. The “Failure to Launch” movie is very convincing, deep and even educative.

Failure to Launch
Of course, it’s about love. But not the kind of love that happens between two people suddenly and unpredictably. Here we have something totally different. On the one hand, one of the partners looks for love while another makes everything possible to make another person fall in love with her as it is her job. Matthew McConaughey in “Failure to Launch” is a 35-year old bachelorTripp still living with his parents. He is quite satisfied with his liaisons with women until it comes to getting his parents acquainted with them. But the thing is his parents are so fed up with their son that all they want is to get rid of him.
The leading woman character Paula was played by Sarah Jessica Parker. The actors of “Failure to Launch” were chosen very precisely. It is hard to imagine Brooke Shields, Reese Witherspoon or Tori Spelling as Paula, however one of them could be there, if they wouldn’t turn down the role offer.
Overall the plot of “Failure to Launch” is very original. It makes no surprise why the movie topped box offices in the USA of its first weekend making $90 million there and $128,406,887 worldwide.
All the events happening in the flick are totally unpredictable. It is full of jokes and humour that anyone can fall for. The situations the characters get into are truthful and anyone faces some in real life.
However, there were some minor slips. For example, a stuntman that was performing for McConaughey on the bike had a tattoo on his ankle which the leading actor hadn’t. Or a reflection of a person in the director’s chair on the water surface. Well, if you look scrutinizingly such moments are present in any movie. And it’s not what we watch films for, anyway.
Meanwhile, “Failure to Launch” is a movie with character and charisma which serves humor in a very effortless and easy way. Through the prism of humor character face real problems and find solutions for them. Watch this!
