It’s Hollywood drama king, Russell Crowe. Basically originating from New Zealand little Russel moved to Australia with his family when he was only 4 years old. He graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art of Australia and got a job in the movie “Romper Stomper” that made him a star. Later he migrated to America and became even more famous by grabbing one Oscar for “Gladiator” and two nominations for “The Insider” and “A Beautiful Mind“.

2. Mel Gibson

Another Aussie-turned-American crazy beast is unarguably Mel Colm-Cille Gerard Gibson or Mel Gibson like we all know him. Born in New York but grown in Sydney he studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Notably, he’s one of those who received Oscar for the directing and acting in the hit “Braveheart“. In 2004 he produced and directed extremely controversial movie “The Passion of the Christ” about sufferings of Jesus Christ during last hours of his life. Well, you may love Gibson or disgust him but you must admit that he’s got a style!

3. Eric Bana

Less talked about but nevertheless talented is Eric Bana. Everybody remembers him in “Troy“. He started his career as a series comedian and ended with such hits as “Munich” and “The Hulk“. And do not forget his villain in “Star Trek“.

It would be unforgivable not to mention deceased Heath Ledger. It is pointless to say how devastated we all were when we knew about his untimely death. Especially as, he was a goddamn good actor. It is really difficult to call out any other young actor with such a unique talent. We all know his best roles and movies that he made blockbusters. So let’s just stand in memory of him…

To wind up, I can offer another hot Aussie delivery, namely Hugh Jackman. Being Sexiest Man Alive 2008 and just a nice actor this heartthrob is known for such movies as “X-Men” and “Van Helsing“. Naturally, anyone of us can recall lots of other movies with him. But like I said it’s time to wind up.

In comparison the last year sexiest man alive Hugh Jackman is way not so overwhelmingly popular as the 23 year old British. However, this gorgeous family man doesn’t seem to be much upset about that. No comments were voiced by previous years’ winners either, namely by Matt Damon (2007), George Clooney (double win in 2006 and 1997) and Matthew McConaughey (2005).

Basically, “Sexiest Man Alive” People’s annual feature was created as a guide of male’s popularity and attractiveness. In some way, it is similar to the Time’s “Person of the Year“. The title was spontaneous as it usually happens when female editor called Mel Gibson the sexiest man alive which migrated straight on the magazine cover.

Meanwhile, this year’s womanizer produces other hype. Natural rumors on Robert Pattinson’s private life are escalating day by day. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson cause true hysteria as they keep silence on their alleged relationship. Quite obviously, they keep telling they’re just friends even after they’ve been caught holding hands at the airport in London.

However, it’s not enough for the young philanderer. Reportedly, he’s linked to another actress. Camille Belle and Robert Pattinson make new tabloid covers as the two were seen together at many occasions. It’s even more interesting as Belle dated Joe Jonas, the Taylor Swift’s ex. Are you still following me? Or are you already confused? It seems to me that I’m getting vertigo of these love triangles, quadrangles and pentagons.

One way or another, with Robert Pattinson’s rumors not getting any weaker, we’re lucky enough to witness even more twists and turns in the private lives of these young stars.

First rumors about Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva appeared when paparazzi caught them earlier this year frolicking and kissing on the Costa Rica beaches. Firstly, it was about we’re-just-friends making excuses. But, as a rule such silly “nos” don’t work, you know. Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva’s rumors are even more shameful as that romantic vacation had place shortly after Mel Gibson’s divorce from his long-term wife. However, it’s not all. It’s just the intriguing beginning.

Partly hilarious, partly sad but still ironic is the fact that Mel Gibson was linked to other three (!!!) Oksanas. Allegedly, Oksana Kolesnikova had a relationship with the filmstar. It’s just she’s happily married for 10 years and got a child. However, that fact didn’t confuse paparazzi. Short time later another Russian beauty, namely Oksana Pochepa, came out of shadow claiming she’s the girl on the Costa Rica pictures. Yet, she looked way too different from that woman. The last (assumingly, not the least) is Oksana Lovoushka connected to the Hollywood womanizer specialized in Russians. As papers say she spent some time with Gibson in Mexico however both “love birds” keep silence.

Wherever these stories go it seems to me that there is only one Oksana (Grigorieva, apparently) in Mel Gibson’s life. As for the others, it is just some sort of tabloid hysteria obsessed with unusual Slavic name. How do you reckon?
