Being a celebrity’s child has an ambiguous nature. On the one hand, it’s just cool! You’re rich. You’re the hub of the universe. On the other hand, if you don’t lack some personality charisma and decent ambitions, it’s very hard to prove you’ve achieved success without patronage. And when your mom is unique Meryl Streep, these difficulties should be multiplied by ten.

However with adorable Mamie Gummer everything is quite clear. From “Heartburn” where she starred aged two as Meryl Streep and Jack Nicholson’s little daughter to recent Broadway’s “Les Liaisons Dangereuses” and big movie debut in “Hoax” her protruding talent provokes no doubts.

However, let me leave all those panegyrics behind and say something nice about her private life. Especially as, there is a reason for it. A few days ago Mamie Gummer and her boyfriend Ben Walker happily announced about engagement! The pair co-worked in a short movie after which they met in the above-mentioned “Les Liaisons Dangereuses” and never get apart since then.

As Gummer and Walker commented: “We’re happy!” And it’s rather believable!
